The client is Trader's Key Pty Ltd (TKP), and Allen is the owner of TKP, which located in Australia, is also a professor of one foreign trade college.

TKP is a software provider in Australia, whose business is related to stock, finance, trading of securities, trading of option and futures and so on. TKP's software product named "Currencies trading", which is a software can be download on the www.traderskey.com.au.

The Trader's key [IMC] imports data from most of the world's major stock markets. It matters NOT, in which country you live, just enter the "ticker code" of your favourite stocks, and the data begins to import.

The software allows for downloading of Historical Data form the internet. This data is instantly converted by the software formula into tables and Graphs, with coloured trend Indicators, the trader's key [IMC] new position signals, can be compared with other favourite fundamental and charting analysis for confident market ENTRIES and EXITS.

In all, this software is to assist investors to improve the investment. The investors' business is mainly related to stock, finance, trading of securities, trading of option and futures and so on. This software will grasp the data from main stock markets and keep updating instantly. Through the software, users can get the data of shares, indices and options, download the related history records, as well as receive the assistance to decide when to buy and sell by the analysis of the software.

Challenge

TKP is popularizing new software named "Currencies trading". The software can display different kinds of currency exchange rates, tendency chart, history data and so on in real time. It allows the user to browse information about exchange rates and easily analyzes the tendencies instantly helping the user make a strategic decision for his or her business.

TKP would like to design and develop a flash to display the balance of the user with a dynamic effect. The flash would increase the interest of the user and the impressive features greatly assist the users ensuring the popularization of "Currencies trading".

Solution

1 System models

System models describe the scenarios, object model, and dynamic models for the system. The subsections Object model and Dynamic model are written during the Analysis activity.

1) Read Balance Model

This Model is used to read the Balance. The Balance is in the CSV file. The flash needs to get the data from CSV file to display the Money Tree. It is developed by ActionScript language.
The flash would use this Model to read Balance each minute. Through this way, the Money Tree can display the current data every minutes.

2) Read Value of each leaf Mode

This Model is used to read the value of each leaf. The flash should display the Money Tree according to the value of each leaf to figure out the number of leaves and trees.

3) Save Value of each leaf Model

This Model is used to save the value of each leaf. The user of the flash can edit the value of each leaf. The flash would display the Money Tree according to the new value of each leaf. It is developed by ActionScript language.

4) Figure Balance for Money Tree Model

This Model is used to figure the number of leaves and trees according to the value of each leaf. If the new balance has changed, the Model figures out whether Money Tree needs to change the number of leaves and trees.

5) Music Model

This Model is used to control the Music of the flash. This Model has two parts as follows:

• To control the back music of the flash
• To control the effect music of the flash

6) Reset Model

This Model is used to reset the flash to initial status. The flash displays the Money Tree according to the Balance and the default values.

7) Display leaf growing Model

This Model is used to display the increase of the balance. When the Figure Balance Model figures out Money Tree should change, the flash of this Model would have a screen with effect music for the leaf growing.

8) Display leaf turn color Model

This Model is used to display the increase or decrease of the balance. When the Figure Balance Model figures out Money Tree should change, the flash of this Model would have a screen with effect music for the leaf turn green or turn yellow.

9) Display leaf disappearing Model

This Model is used to display the decrease of the balance. When the Figure Balance Model figures out Money Tree should change, the flash of this Model would have a screen with effect music for the leaf growing.
Note: If the value of each leaf is the percent of changes of balance, this Model is not useful.

10) Display one tree growing Model

This Model is used to display the increase of the balance. When the Figure Balance Model figures out Money Tree should change, the flash of this Model would have a screen with effect music for the leaf growing.

11) Display one tree disappearing Model

This Model is used to display the decrease of the balance. When the Figure Balance Model figures out Money Tree should change, the flash of this Model would have a screen with effect music for the leaf growing.
