| The client is a service provider for law firm customers to manage bills and invoices. It was found that the customers need a software to manage documents in their legal practice, such as checks, invoice, case background documents, correspondences from law firms, insurers, vendors, etc., and the documents should be well organized in the system and ready for full content search. Based on ExperExchange's OCR engine, we developed a document process application for Legal Cost Consultants, including document scanning, OCR and other processing functions. Document images are acquired from a scanner, recording related information like scan operator name, the image acquisition time, etc. The scan process can be fully automated or customized by the operator to save time and other resources. The OCR features covers all those in TypeReader Enterprise, as well as exporting documents to the database. Legal Cost Consultants processes documents such as checks, invoices and legal documents. Additional functions include converting documents into corresponding formats, and exporting them into their respective databases for law firm operation. Thousands of image files can be processed in less than 24 hours, with the highest accuracy and ready for content search and indexing.
