Passport Recognition for US Airports and Customs

On April 15th, 2004, ExperExchange signed a contract for developing the special Passport Recognition Technology that is used in the palm recognition equipment for the US-based Unisys Corporation. The product developed by Unisys Corporation will be taken into probation nearly a dozen US airports and Customs, with a goal to provide the convenient method for security checkers to quickly inspect the MRZ code of every passport to verify authenticity. If its probation results are good, it will be accepted by the US Department of Homeland Security and promoted to other big airports and harbors to prevent terrorist attacks and destruction, and to protect the American citizens more effectively.
