The client was one of the first asset management companies in China with US $4 billion under management. It manages five closed-end mutual funds, five open-end mutual funds, as well as three mandates from the National Council of the Social Security Fund. Over the years, and with growing business the client decided to develop a CRM system but the complex testing had to be outsourced to a professional service provider so that they could roll out the system as soon as possible.
ExperExchange won the project and performed the following tasks for the Client:
- Test plan: We focused on functions, performance and security testing. Our testing activities covered test planning, test case design, test execution and bug reporting.
- Functional testing: We verified all the functionalities defined in the system specification, and tested the integrality of these functions.
- Performance testing: We conducted design tests to discover system bottlenecks and identify all wasted resources as early as possible, thereafter to give suggestions on system optimization to improve the system's performance and efficiency.
- Security testing: The login authorization, access rights control functions etc. were tested to ensure system security.
ExperExchange was given only 6 weeks to test, evaluate and enhance the CRM system, which had practically no comparables in terms of scale and complexity in the market. As a result of our testing exercise, the system became more robust and efficient and is rolling out ahead of schedule.
